ows-ink-logoOnce Upon A Time

Stephanie and Amanda (A.L.) were partnered up during a writing project nearly 10 years ago. They learned they had much more than just writing in common and bonded right away. Over the years, they have supported each other’s other writing and have grown together, eventually adding Wendy to their dynamic duo. This writing relationship naturally evolved into a dream: to build a writing community that would offer others the support they found in each other. Our Write Side was launched in October of 2015 and has seen incredible growth since.

Happily Ever After

Our Write Side has now grown to include the original site where you can find lessons, blogs, and prompts, OWS Inked, our quarterly literary journal, and now, we are fully registered and licensed publishing house, operating as OWS Ink. What was once just a spark of an idea has transformed into a company that will continue to grow and support the writers it loves so much. We are so happy to be open for business and to have you all with us on this journey of words and visions. We look forward to reading your manuscripts and making your dreams (and ours!) become reality.

Did you know all parts of OWS Ink from our community to our lit journal, our graphic designers to editors and beyond, are run completely by volunteers? You could be a huge part of our success just by offering a small donation to help us continue to provide these quality services for authors from all walks of life. If you would like to make a donation, click here. We’ll even send you some swag as thanks for your donation.

What Our Clients Have to Say

Elizabeth Abel has many talents. But none of her talents would have seen the light of day without the amazing support of Stephanie Ayers, Amanda Mabry and Wendy Strain, founders of Our Write Side. Without the awesome trio, Elizabeth Abel would not have had the courage to show off some of her many talents. Our Write Side founders truly help all authors succeed and achieve their goals!
